Consignment Guidelines
Sort clothing items that
you wish to remove from your closet. Items
for Fashion & Art Revival should be
3-years old or newer (except for vintage
clothing) and in near perfect condition.
Anything aged or that has flaws, holes,
or stains, and all economy clothing should
be donated to your favorite charity.
Bring your things to Fashion & Art
Revival. No appointment is necessary. Arrive
between 12-noon and 4 pm, Tuesday thru Friday.
Please bring no more than 20 items per visit
so that they can be processed promptly.

At this point you have already accomplished
a good deal of closet cleaning! Now, its
time to save money. As your items sell,
your Fashion & Art Revival credit balance
will grow. Use your credit for purchases
at Fashion & Art Revival or wait for
your summary check at the end of 60 days.
Our minimum check amount is $20.00. Consignment
checks can be mailed to you if you have
provided a stamped self addressed envelope.
It isn't necessary that you live in or
near Oakland, California. You can UPS your
items to us. PLEASE contact Ellen before
shipping any item. Rejected items can be
returned only if you provide an appropriate
pre-labeled UPS (or similar shipping agency)
box.
Choosing items to consign:
Style
Generally no older than 3-years. Consign
only items of unusually high quality, unique
style, or that carry a designer label. Remember,
like you, our customers want the very best.
You buy only items that are of true value.
Others shop in the same way. Quality and
style are important.
Condition
Items should be clean, pressed (your iron
is your friend), and in great condition.
Items with perfume or mold smells, pilling,
soil, smoke odors, and other flaws do not
sell. We put the very best quality on our
racks.
Select clothing that your neighbor or best
friend might want to buy.
