Long frock coats, also called rifle coats, were the Old West’s slightly more elegant alternative to a rider’s duster coat. This coat is a medium weight polyester blend for comfortable wear in moderate to severe weather. It has an inside breast pocket, and outside breast pocket, two front lap pockets, notched lapels and covered buttons with detail stitching on the back.

Sizing is generous without being bulky. The coat has ample shoulders and extra arm length. The coat is made to fit over a shirt, vest, and short coat and allows room for wearing a holster. It is extra long for protection from weather. If you are ordering for casual street wear, some alteration may be desired.
